The Disney Beach Club resembles a 20th century Eastern Seaboard seaside resort with a prime location just off Crescent Lake. The hotel lobby provides an upscale ambience with tall-airy ceilings, striped curtains, interesting nautical accents, fine wood furnishings, and tile floors. The Disney Beach Club features a 3 acre lakeside water park known as Stormalong Bay. It includes an enormous outdoor pool, water slides, hot tubs, two smaller pools, and a white-sandy beach. These facilities are also shared with Disney's Yacht Club guests. The resort provides nightly bedtime stories, an arcade, an imaginative playground area, and supervised children’s activities.
